If in the heat of the moment, you are such a person who simply says that you do not care, you should know that people you are responding to will in all probability be looking down on you. You may have done harm to your reputation as a person as someone who could not be bothered about the welfare of others or situations in life that could affect the communities surrounding you. You, if you are such a person, need to see things this way. Do place the proverbial shoe on the other foot. And then you begin to see how life is.
If no dedicated care is forthcoming for the distressed man or woman, a seriously difficult and precarious life beckons. Fortunately, that is not the case. First of all, legislation has been enacted. It suggests that every means must be found to cater for the needs of those seriously distressed, living under duress, marginalized, seriously ill but not able to remain hospitalized for long periods of time, physically and mentally incapacitated to the point that they are not able to take care of themselves any more, oh, this list could go on and on.
Have some heart, dear readers. Think of those far less fortunate than yourself. And thankfully, you do have a heart after all. But this much is understood. You do not yet have the heart to volunteer time off to help out. Fortunately, there are dedicated care specialists professionally qualified to take care of those in need. And guess what, they need your help. And this is something you can do. Consider a monthly donation, it does not need to be a large one, to help support those centers set up to fill in where local government purportedly no longer has the capacity to serve.
